# Hyperobjects and point-view

Biology & ecology ·

## Why it looked like it would break the theory

Hyperobjects such as global warming are distributed across space and time beyond any complete human viewpoint. If perspective belongs only to a conscious observer who can grasp the whole, the view pole appears unrealized.

## Why it failed

**The counterexample failed** because Perspective is not anthropomorphic. A hyperobject is itself an identity and may instantiate a point; human experiences are additional partial views. No perspective is required to contain an exhaustive representation of the whole.
