# Runaway solutions excluded by fiat

## Why it looked like it would break the theory

The Abraham–Lorentz–Dirac equation permits runaway and pre-acceleration solutions that physicists reject as unphysical. Excluding them can look like removing a difficult counterexample by fiat.

## Why it failed

**The counterexample failed** because physical acceptance is irrelevant to whether a structure is organized. A rejected mathematical solution still contains distinctions, parts, relationships, and perspectives and remains representable. DSRP can describe and test an organized model without endorsing it as physically true.
