A local feature by Erin Barrett on the Ithaca City School District's Contemporary Learning Spaces initiative — writeable surfaces, buoy chairs, and layouts with no front of the room.

### What they found (results)

The redesign changes pedagogy along with the furniture, and the piece describes the think blocks Derek and Laura Cabrera designed as the tool that teaches the underlying thinking model, spelling the four rules out for readers.
