Constructing two three-qubit states with Z2 symmetry, the authors show the states are indistinguishable by observables relative to one reference frame but distinguishable relative to another, and that three competing quantum-reference-frame frameworks (perspective-neutral, extra-particle, operational) each yield a different transformation rule for the same case.
