### Abstract

O-Theory holds that the DSRP patterns provide a universal structural grammar for distinguishable phenomena, with mental models and reality both composed of information and organization. This paper argues that a boundary condition appears at the limit of that application: grounded in formal mereology and the logic of self-reference, complete structural identity between a model and reality may be logically impossible. The argument turns on why the operational syntax of the fraction 1/1 cannot equate to the conceptual value of the integer 1, separating structural syntax from quantitative output.

### What they found (results)

The asymptotic limit in O-Theory is interpreted as a logical boundary rather than an empirical one. Uncertainty is localized to the boundary itself, and the validity of DSRP is preserved throughout the observable domain. The paper connects the result to Markov blankets, the free-energy principle, predictive processing and general semantics.

### In short

Klein argues that a model may never be fully identical to the reality it models, because the fraction 1/1 is not the same thing as the integer 1. The limit sits at the edge of O-Theory and leaves DSRP intact everywhere it can be observed.

### Response

Although it appears to make a constraint against universality, the constraint quite literally is the difference between 1/1 and 1, and that difference is 0.
