## In authors' words

### What they set out to do (purpose)

Grants DSRP its strongest framing as a structural ontology and then asks what that universality actually buys, mapping where DSRP ends and domain theory begins. The author states the aim as staying "as faithful as possible to the strongest version of the claim" and calls the result "a boundary map, not a takedown."

### What they found (results)

Six boundaries. One, DSRP constrains coherence but does not replace domain theory, which the author supports with the Cabreras' own line that DSRP "doesn't unify physics through a Lagrangian equation" while it "structures everything that can be explained." Two, models are frame-dependent, since the paper's Relativity section makes the operators context-dependent rather than standalone, so the frame must be declared and different frames can yield competing but coherent models. Three, representation pluralism: a content-agnostic grammar still leaves multiple workable encodings, and DSRP will not choose among coherent ones. Four, DSRP diagnoses structural incoherence but does not settle domain-level inventories where rival ontologies remain live, because "coherence is necessary, but it is not sufficient for truth." Five, the falsifiability target is structural, sitting at a higher altitude than entity-level scientific disputes. Six, the discovery boundary: a coherent map can become a closed world, so practitioners must treat modeling choices as hypotheses and run deliberate frame variation. Mosse explicitly credits a stronger-than-tidiness role for organization, noting the Cabreras' empirical framing in which holding content fixed and changing organization produces systematic differences in measured model-world fit. He closes: "DSRP structures explanation. It does not terminate explanation."

## Commentary

### In short

An independent cybersecurity researcher who completed a six-week DSRP course sets out, across three essays, what he takes DSRP to deliver and where he thinks its claims overreach, engaging directly with recent Cabrera papers on universal ontology and the grammar of reality.
