A Cornell Chronicle story by Bill Steele on a $605,000 NSF grant to a Cornell team, with Derek Cabrera as postdoctoral associate and co-investigator, to build tools for evaluating science and technology outreach.

### What they found (results)

The aim is to shift how researchers see evaluation — from a grant requirement to feedback and organizational learning — and to link evaluation methodology to systems thinking so programs and stakeholders can be coordinated coherently.
