# R2. DSRP describes organization regardless of truth or physical realization

What the calculus is

Must something be true, real, or physically possible to be represented by DSRP?

## Short answer

No. True, false, fictional, hypothetical, impossible, and discarded models may all be organized. DSRP can represent their organization and test their structural adequacy without thereby endorsing them as true.

## Complete explanation

Once something meets the independent scope criterion in R15, its truth status or physical realizability does not determine whether it is organized. A false belief, fictional world, rejected theory, hypothetical model, or physically impossible mathematical solution may still contain distinctions, systems, relationships, and perspectives. Being false or unreal does not make it unorganized. DSRP does more than describe such models. Because the calculus is constrained and predictive, it can expose missing structures, hidden shifts, and contradictions. It may reveal a missing identity or other, an omitted part or whole, an unrepresented effect, a view detached from its point, or a change in context, scale, boundary, or perspective treated as though nothing changed. Those structural predictions can be checked against reality. Repeated testing and revision can therefore increase the probability that a model becomes better aligned with reality. Representable does not mean true; structural testing can improve the probability of alignment.

## Why the apparent counterexample arises

The apparent difficulty arises because representing a model is confused with endorsing it. DSRP can represent an organized model regardless of whether it is true, while still testing whether the model is structurally adequate.
