## In short

Two rival movements adopt different vantage points (frames) on the same concept, and the distinction between the content of those frames relates causally to how much public mobilization each achieves.

## What they found (results)

The anti-overhaul movement's 'liberal democracy' frame, resonating through moralizing, institutional, and rights-based appeals, mobilized substantially more public support than the pro-overhaul side's 'minimalist democracy' frame.
